Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics and warehouse operations in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and inventory control while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the warehouse operates in line with organisational goals and customer expectations.
  • Mentor and coach warehouse staff in best practices and operational standards.
  • Develop partnerships with local suppliers for efficient logistics operations.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies.
  • Designate warehouse areas for specific products and manage stock replenishment.
  • Review and enhance warehouse workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Track shipping and receiving activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead efforts to ensure cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse.
  • Facilitate communication regarding inventory needs across departments.
  • Champion a positive company culture focused on teamwork and safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
Experience
  • Proven experience in warehouse management with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity
