Lap Cutter Truer Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lap Cutter Truer Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll set up and operate lap cutter truer machines to ensure precision shaping and truing of round lap plates used in high-quality manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for production based on job orders.
• Maintain accurate logs of machine operations and issues.
• Collaborate with quality assurance team to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and carry out repairs as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and tools.
• Engage in continuous training to enhance machine operation skills.
• Assist in optimizing layout for increased workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Support other manufacturing projects as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in manufacturing or engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Machine operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of CNC machines: Experience with CNC programming and operation is a plus.
