Job Description

As a Drywall and Ceiling Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall and ceiling tiles in various residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with architectural plans and collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure that every project is completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Install ceiling tiles and drywall in accordance with architectural plans.
• Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning and sanding as needed.
• Ensure accurate measurements and cuts for efficient material use.
• Work alongside electricians and plumbers to ensure proper installations.
• Conduct final checks to ensure quality and standards compliance.
• Assist in estimating material requirements for projects.
• Train and supervise junior installers as needed.
• Report any issues with materials or equipment to management.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade School Certification in Construction or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in drywall and ceiling installations

Technical Skills

• Ceiling Tile Installation
• Blueprint Reading
