Spray Mixer

Job Description

As a Spray Mixer, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing coating materials to ensure a consistent and high-quality finish on a variety of surfaces. You will operate spray equipment and collaborate with the coatings team to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the spray equipment to ensure high-quality coat application.
• Measure and mix raw materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Track inventory of coating materials and reorder as needed.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings to enhance workflow and processes.
• Work with quality assurance to maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in the development and testing of new coatings.
• Provide feedback for process improvements in the coatings department.
• Follow health and safety standards in all operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with audits and inspections as required.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2+ years in the coatings or similar industry

Technical Skills

• Experience with automated spray equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with industry-standard spraying techniques: Experience with techniques that ensure optimal application of coatings.
