Job Description

As a Burnishing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating burnishing machines to create a smooth and polished finish on metal surfaces. You'll need to read and interpret blueprints, set up machines, and inspect final products to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilise burnishing machines to create high-quality finishes on metal surfaces.
• Adjust machinery settings based on project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on burnishing equipment.
• Work within team units to achieve monthly production goals.
• Document daily output and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Assist in training new employees on machine operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in metalworking preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating burnishing machines in a manufacturing environment
