Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Printing Press Operators to join our innovative team in Sydney. You will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of printing machines, ensuring high-quality outputs for our esteemed clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate various printing machines, such as offset and digital presses.
• Ensure that all printing jobs are completed to the client's specifications.
• Perform adjustments to maintain print quality throughout production runs.
• Communicate effectively with team members about the status of jobs.
• Assist in the training of new staff on machine operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Printing and Graphic Arts (Machine Printing)

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a printing environment

Technical Skills

• Problem-solving
• Quality control

Soft Skills

• Effective communication

Certifications

• Forklift license (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of digital printing techniques: Experience with digital printing methods for quick turnaround jobs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment: Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
