Job Description

As a Marine Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of marine equipment such as engines and propulsion systems. You will work alongside a team of skilled engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality solutions that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop marine systems, maintaining a focus on innovation and efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and analysis to ensure all equipment operates optimally.
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and engineers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Draft and maintain engineering specifications and documentation for marine projects.
  • Lead projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for future marine equipment development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field
  • Professional registration with Engineers Australia is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine design and development.
