Job Description

As a Hydroelectric Operations Maintenance Worker, you will play a critical role in the daily operation and upkeep of our hydroelectric power generation plants. This hands-on position requires a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, focusing on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Ideal candidates will be committed to safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on hydroelectric equipment and machinery.
• Assist in the installation and repair of electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues in plant operations.
• Operate heavy machinery and equipment as necessary.
• Document maintenance activities and report to the Plant Manager.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response training.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in maintenance or operations at a hydroelectric power plant preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
