Tile Fitter

Job Description

As a Tile Fitter, you will install tiles on walls, floors, and various surfaces, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. Your ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople will help us deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling before tile installation.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance.
• Use various tools and equipment safely during installations.
• Assist in estimating material requirements for projects.
• Document job progress and report to the Project Manager regularly.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent)
• White Card (Construction Induction)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Tile Fitter

Technical Skills

• Tile Installation
• Grouting and Adhesives

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Waterproofing and Sealing: Knowledge in waterproofing techniques and sealing for different tile types.
• Experience with Large Scale Projects: Ability to manage and execute installations in large commercial environments.
