Job Description

As a Shell Mold Bonding Machine Operator, your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain machines that bond shell molds together. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality castings are produced efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate bonding machines, ensuring optimal performance during production.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to minimise downtime.
• Document production output and quality metrics accurately.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality control teams to optimise processes.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain adherence to standards.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Assist in troubleshooting production line issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
• Engage in team activities to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent
• Certificate in Manufacturing Operations (advantageous)

Experience

• 2+ years operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment

Technical Skills

• Machine Maintenance
• Lean Manufacturing Principles

Certifications

• Forklift Licence
• ISO Certification (Desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
