Job Description

In the role of Patient Representative, you will ensure a smooth patient registration process and uphold the standards of patient privacy and confidentiality. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate appointments and procedures, empowering patient care every step of the way.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the patient registration process and ensure accurate entry of information.
  • Manage patient intake efficiently, reducing wait times and improving service delivery.
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Compile reports on patient registration metrics and financial transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with medical and administrative staff to improve patient experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare registration and billing.
