We are searching for a talented Short Order Cook to join our energetic kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking barbecue dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and timely service. Your expertise in barbecue techniques and your passion for food will be vital in delivering an unforgettable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook quality barbecue meals efficiently.
• Ensure high standards of food presentation and hygiene.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to enhance menu offerings.
• Participate in stocktaking and inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with food safety policies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Engage with customers to provide an excellent dining experience.
• Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Working with Children Check (if applicable)

Experience

• 3+ years in commercial kitchen environment with barbecue focus.
