Join our cattle sorting team, where you will be responsible for organizing cattle based on age, weight, and health status. This is a hands-on position that requires good physical fitness and a keen understanding of animal behaviour.
Responsibilities
Organize cattle by their characteristics and health status.
Monitor cattle for any signs of distress or illness.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain sorting records.
Ensure humane treatment of cattle at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of the sorting area and equipment to ensure safety.
Assist in the loading and transportation of cattle when required.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Animal Studies is a plus
Experience
Experience with animal health and medication administration is advantageous.
