As a Ham Curer, you will be responsible for curing ham according to established recipes and procedures. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and flavour of our products, working with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Participate in daily production meetings to discuss targets and issues.
Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Handle raw and cured meats with care and attention to hygiene.
Support the Quality Control team during inspections.
Adapt curing processes based on seasonal changes and ingredient availability.
Document processes in compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Meat Processing (Smallgoods - Curing)
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in ham curing or a related field.
Technical Skills
Attention to detail
Knowledge of meat processing

Strong organizational skills
Advantageous
Experience with different types of meat curing: Understanding various curing techniques applied to beef and poultry.
