Job Description

Are you passionate about animal health and epidemiology? We are looking for a Veterinary Epidemiologist to join our team and lead investigations into disease trends. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop impactful strategies that enhance animal health and welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive analyses of animal health data to guide public health decisions.
  • Work collaboratively to design animal health programs aimed at reducing disease incidence.
  • Develop reports and policy documents to support health interventions.
  • Facilitate training sessions for stakeholders on disease prevention methods.
  • Foster relationships with local, state, and national health agencies.
  • Perform research and publish results in relevant journals.
  • Assist in the establishment of disease surveillance networks.
  • Provide expert advice on health regulations and compliance.
  • Contribute to grants and funding proposals for epidemiological projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • PhD in Epidemiology or related field preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in veterinary epidemiology or related environments.
