Job Description

As an Orchard Hand at AgriLife Services, you will be pivotal in maintaining and harvesting fruit trees in our orchard. You will work closely within a team, ensuring efficient production while adhering to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance routines for the orchard's health.
• Be involved in discussions about production improvement strategies.
• Adhere to sustainability practices while conducting orchard tasks.
• Collect and analyze data on tree growth and fruit yield.
• Participate in the training of new team members.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of high school education
• Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Pest Management
• Record Keeping

Certifications

• Workplace Health and Safety Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
