Job Description

As a Cement Finisher, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, responsible for applying, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete. Your expertise will ensure that structural and aesthetic standards are met across various construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Finish surfaces using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ensure high-quality standards in all finished concrete surfaces.
• Repair and restore existing concrete surfaces as required.
• Assist in training new team members on best practices.
• Perform regular safety checks on tools and equipment.
• Document project progress and report issues to management.
• Implement waste management practices on-site.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the team by suggesting improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Concrete Technology is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cement finishing or related area

Technical Skills

• Concrete Repair Techniques
• Understanding of Aggregates

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Concrete Testing: Understanding the process of testing concrete for quality and consistency.
• Ability to Work Independently: Proficiency in executing tasks without direct supervision.
