Job Description

As an American Indian Policy Specialist, you will develop and evaluate policies that impact American Indian communities. This position requires liaising with various stakeholders, including government departments and community organizations, to ensure effective policy implementation and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders about policy initiatives.
  • Assist in formulating strategies that promote the well-being of American Indian communities.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated policy solutions.
  • Network with other policy specialists to share best practices and experiences.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and advocate for reforms.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Indigenous Studies or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Experience working with American Indian communities (preferred)
