Job Description

We are looking for experienced Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and woodworking, along with excellent attention to detail to deliver high-quality structures.

Responsibilities

• Align and secure structures by using clamps, braces, and fasteners.
• Install fixtures such as windows, doors, and cabinets.
• Estimate materials required for each job and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect completed work for quality and conformity.
• Provide support for larger construction projects and assist in site logistics.
• Collate and report on job progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of the workshop.
• Stay updated on new carpentry techniques and industry developments.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV or higher in Carpentry or relevant trade qualification

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in carpentry or construction roles

Technical Skills

• Building Codes Knowledge
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Scaffolding Ticket: Holding a scaffolding ticket is a plus.
• Proficient in CAD software: Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD is beneficial.
