Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic production team. The successful applicant will operate hydraulic presses to produce high-quality stamped products, ensuring efficiency and precision throughout the printing process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dies and plates for stamping and ensure all materials are correctly set up.
• Conduct quality checks on stamped materials to ensure specifications are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate production efforts.
• Assist in training junior press operators on operational procedures and safety practices.
• Clean and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure cleanliness.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in the printing industry

Technical Skills

• Operating hydraulic presses
• Technical drawing interpretation
• Machine maintenance

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Familiarity with CAD software for designing stamp plates and dies.
• Knowledge of ERP systems: Experience with ERP software for production planning and tracking.
