Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Gate Tender to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of gates and barriers, providing a safe environment for both vehicles and pedestrians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage gate operations for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Report any incidents or security breaches to the Security Manager immediately.
• Assist in training new team members on gate operations and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular checks on gate systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Engage with visitors and ensure proper identification and access verification.
• Maintain a clean and orderly gate area to enhance safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in security or gate operations preferred, but not required.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Having a First Aid certificate is a plus.
• Experience in the security field: Prior experience in security or transportation sectors would be beneficial.
