Job Description

As a Plant Protection Guard, you will be essential in safeguarding our crops and plants from pests and diseases. You will monitor agricultural areas, implement pest management strategies, and ensure the overall health of our agricultural products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular monitoring of crops for signs of issues.
• Implement effective pest management strategies.
• Apply chemical treatments safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Document pest management practices and outcomes.
• Maintain and oversee pest control materials and equipment.
• Assist in training staff on pest identification and management.
• Coordinate with agricultural technicians for crop health assessments.
• Keep up to date with pest management best practices.
• Engage in ongoing education regarding pest control advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in pest management or related field
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in pest management or agriculture

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of pests and crop diseases
• Pest control equipment operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Certifications

• Certification in plant protection
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
