Rack Washer

Job Description

As a Rack Washer, you will play an essential role in our kitchen team. Your main responsibility will be to clean and sanitise racks, trays, and utensils used in food preparation. Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment are key for this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all cleaning is performed efficiently and meets health standards.
• Adhere to proper washing techniques for various kitchen equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor the supply of cleaning materials and report any shortages.
• Participate in cleaning schedules and routines.
• Train and mentor new staff on cleaning protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is an advantage.

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Industrial washing machine operation
• Food safety practices

Languages
