Job Description

In the role of Electroplater at our Sydney facility, you'll be tasked with applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of metal and plastic substrates. The position demands a strong understanding of electrochemical processes and an ability to meticulously follow safety standards. As part of a skilled team, you will contribute to the high-quality finish of our products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial inspections of raw materials before processing.
  • Prepare and mix chemical solutions for electroplating processes.
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect and assess the quality of plated components.
  • Document and report any discrepancies in production quality.
  • Assist with the maintenance of safety records and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to meet production goals.
  • Contribute to team meetings discussing process efficiency and improvements.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on industry standards.
  • Ensure that all waste products are disposed of in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification in manufacturing processes preferred
Experience
  • Experience with specific materials such as steel, brass, or aluminum is advantageous.
