Job Description

The Cut Out Stitcher will be responsible for cutting and stitching fabric pieces together to create various garments. The ideal candidate should have experience in sewing and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Use cutting machines to cut out patterns from leather or other materials.
• Hand-stitch pieces together using traditional techniques.
• Operate sewing machines to stitch leather components.
• Ensure that all finished products meet quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and work area.
• Assist with other tasks as required by the Production Manager.
• Monitor supply inventory and report on stock levels.
• Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
• Document work processes and any issues encountered during production.

Advantageous

• Ability to operate button-hole makers: Experience with machinery for creating buttonholes.
• Experience in leather goods production: Background in cutting and stitching leather materials.
