Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Farmworker to join our poultry farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and management of our poultry stock, ensuring their health and well-being.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day feeding and management of poultry.
Collect and monitor egg production rates and quality.
Keep poultry houses and equipment clean and safe.
Provide detailed reports on flock health to the supervisor.
Help manage supply inventory for feeds and medications.
Assist in training new staff on proper handling techniques.
Coordinate with management on operational improvements.
Participate in regular training and development activities.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Agriculture (Animal Husbandry)
Current driver's license
Experience
Proven experience with poultry management and following biosecurity protocols
