Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Captain to oversee and manage all aspects of vessel operations. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and the efficient operation of our maritime services.

Responsibilities

• Lead vessel operations and ensure adherence to maritime regulations.
• Supervise the safety and welfare of both crew and cargo.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with maritime operations.
• Work closely with the operations manager to improve safety protocols and efficiency.
• Utilize electronic navigation systems for precise routing.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Master Mariner certificate or equivalent certification

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Captain on seagoing vessels

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific vessel types (cargo ships, passenger vessels): Previous experience operating a vessel similar to the ones in our fleet is advantageous.
• Additional maritime certifications: Any higher-level certification beyond the Master Mariner is a plus.
