Job Description

As a Well-Point Pumping Supervisor, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of well-point dewatering systems on construction sites. This role requires strong leadership, an understanding of groundwater systems, and adherence to safety protocols. You will be responsible for managing teams, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of well-point pumping operations, including installation, maintenance, and removal of well-point systems.
  • Manage a team of technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop pumping strategies that meet project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of pumping operations and produce reports as required.
  • Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field teams.
  • Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and maintained according to regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of well-point systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose engineering solutions.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement among staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction and groundwater management.
