Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Timber Framer to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, cutting, and fitting timber frames for various construction projects. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
• Select and prepare lumber and other materials needed for projects.
• Cut and join timber using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install timber frames whilst ensuring compliance with local building codes.
• Maintain quality control of finished timber products to meet standards.
• Support project planning and scheduling with accurate time estimates.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized job site.
• Promote a culture of safety in all work practices.
• Work collaboratively with project managers to resolve issues on-site.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements in timber framing.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Relevant experience in timber framing projects is essential.

Languages
