Job Description
As a Fishing and Hunting Worker, you'll be responsible for the collection and processing of oysters, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to work outdoors in a vibrant industry.
Responsibilities
Harvest oysters and ensure adherence to best aquaculture practices.
Participate in monitoring environmental conditions and water quality.
Support team in packing and dispatching oysters to markets.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Engage in ongoing training for sustainable harvesting techniques.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Collaborate with quality control processes to meet product standards.
Requirements
Education
Valid Australian driver's license
Boat driving license preferred
Experience
Experience in aquaculture or a related field is an advantage.
