As a Conveyor Operator and Tender, you will play a vital role in the timber processing industry by safely operating machinery to process wood chips. Your expertise will ensure machinery operates at peak performance while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Control the operation of conveyor systems for efficient wood chip processing.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify any issues.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Complete necessary reports related to machinery performance and safety checks.

Requirements

Education

• Certifications in machinery operation are an advantage

Experience

• Experience in materials handling and logistics is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in basic mechanical repairs: Ability to perform basic repairs on machinery will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in production environments: Experience working in fast-paced production settings preferred.
