Job Description

As an Interstate Bus Driver, you will be responsible for driving our commercial buses across various states in Australia. The successful candidate will ensure passenger safety and comfort, providing excellent service and professionalism throughout all journeys.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely across various interstate routes.
• Perform regular safety checks on the vehicle before and after trips.
• Follow designated routes and schedules as specified by the company.
• Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management.
• Handle any onboard emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Document and report vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
• Engage with passengers to verify their comfort and satisfaction during the journey.
• Participate in safety training and refreshers as required by the company.
• Provide input for route optimization and service improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience driving interstate routes preferred

Technical Skills

• Bus Maintenance Knowledge
• GPS and Navigation Systems

Certifications

• Current Driver Accreditation
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience Driving Interstate Routes: Previous experience on longer, interstate bus journeys.
• First Aid & CPR Certification: Current valid certification preferred.
