We are seeking a talented Mining and Geological Engineer to oversee the design and monitoring of tailings storage facilities. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while managing the safe disposal of mining by-products.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement tailings management systems that meet regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of tailings facilities.
• Manage tailings treatment and disposal processes including water management.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure open communication.
• Provide technical support to geotechnical engineering and environmental monitoring teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining or resource industries.

Certifications

• Relevant safety certifications such as First Aid or OH&S.
