Equipment Operator

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery, as well as a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various heavy construction equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Help ensure the site is clean and organized.
• Assist in training new operators on safety and operational protocols.
• Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Document daily operations and report to the supervisor regularly.
• Other duties as directed by the management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of practical experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Loader Operation
• Site Safety Management

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Heavy Equipment Operator License
• Site Safety Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with maintenance of heavy machinery: Hands-on experience with the upkeep of equipment adds value.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards: Familiarity with OSHA regulations or equivalent standards is a plus.
