Job Description

Join our team as an Earth Driller, overseeing drilling operations for sustainable water and resource extraction. You will leverage your knowledge of geology and drilling techniques to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drilling and completion of wells for resource extraction.
• Assess and adapt drilling processes based on geological data.
• Uphold rigorous safety measures at all times.
• Carry out equipment checks and preventative maintenance.
• Record geological observations and related data.
• Provide hands-on mentoring to the drilling team.
• Supervise site operations and liaise with other departments.
• Implement effective strategies to overcome drilling obstacles.
• Lead daily briefings to update the team on objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Drilling Operations or equivalent
• Completion of relevant safety training courses

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in drilling operations

Technical Skills

• Directional Drilling Experience
• Cementing Techniques

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Well Control Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Supervisory Experience: Experience in managing and supervising drilling operations and staff.
• Data Management Skills: Ability to utilise drilling software for project management.
