Job Description

We're looking for enthusiastic and skilled Painters to join our dynamic construction team. Your role will be crucial in creating stunning finishes on residential and commercial projects, showcasing your painting abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint and repairing damage.
• Apply various types of paint and finishes accurately.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during painting projects.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople on site.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, minimizing hazards.
• Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed.
• Assist in training junior painters and apprentices.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in painting or construction is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the painting industry.

Technical Skills

• Painting techniques
• Safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Working at Heights Certification
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in working at heights: Comfortable with scaffolding and high-altitude painting work.
• Knowledge of specialized painting techniques: Experience in applying advanced painting techniques such as murals and faux finishes.
