Responsibilities

• Manage the logistics of hazardous materials transportation.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members in hazardous material handling.
• Conduct research on best practices for hazardous waste management.
• Engage with stakeholders about waste management policies and procedures.
• Lead safety meetings to discuss procedures and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Additional safety certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a hazardous materials role

Technical Skills

• Proficient in safety regulations and compliance
• Experience with environmental assessment techniques

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Leadership skills in a team setting

Certifications

• Confined Space Entry certification
• Environmental Safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in asbestos removal: Certification in safe handling and removing asbestos.
• Previous experience in industrial settings: Experience working in factories or construction sites.
