Job Description

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing credit risk for our financial institution. You'll analyse credit data, develop risk models, and formulate strategies to ensure the financial stability of our clients and the institution alike.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyse diverse data sources to assess credit risk.
• Provide recommendations on credit limits and terms for clients.
• Continuous monitoring of existing credit portfolios for any emerging risks.
• Report on credit risk issues and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Develop reporting tools to summarise credit risk assessments.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior analysts within the team.
• Utilise statistical software (like SAS, R, or SQL) for data analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of credit assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of related experience in credit risk analysis
