As a Fur Glazer at Furry Creations, you will be responsible for repairing and grooming animal fur to bring out its natural sheen and softness. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with various animal breeds.

Responsibilities

• Grooming various breeds of cats and dogs, catering to their specific needs.
• Performing health checks to detect any potential issues.
• Showing patience and calmness while handling anxious or nervous pets.
• Educating owners on best practices for pet care at home.
• Documenting grooming sessions and client interactions thoughtfully.
• Offering recommendations for grooming products and services.
• Collaborating with the team to improve service delivery.
• Attending training sessions to enhance grooming skills.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Animal Grooming or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in grooming and animal care

Technical Skills

• Fur Conditioning
• Knowledge of Animal Behavior

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• Grooming Certification by a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Certification in pet first aid or basic veterinary care is beneficial.
