Job Description

As a Pond Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall health and maintenance of ponds, lakes, and other aquatic ecosystems. Your role will involve monitoring water quality, overseeing fish stocking, and collaborating with a dedicated team to implement sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of aquatic habitats.
  • Implement pest and predator control measures to protect aquatic life.
  • Develop and review aquatic management plans and strategies.
  • Keep abreast of changes in environmental regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project updates.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff development.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for project management.
  • Support the implementation of sustainable practices across operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Postgraduate degree in Aquatic Science or Fisheries Management is a plus
Experience
  • Experience with chemical applications for algae or pest control is an advantage
