Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Volunteer Coordinator to lead our volunteer programs in Central Coast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, ensuring a positive experience for all participants while effectively meeting the needs of our community programs.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed volunteer job descriptions to clearly outline expectations.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to identify potential volunteer projects.
  • Assist in budget preparation for volunteer programs and related events.
  • Oversee the evaluation process for volunteers, providing constructive feedback.
  • Speak at community events to promote volunteerism and the organization's mission.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among the volunteer team.
  • Support program development by identifying opportunities to expand volunteer roles.
  • Manage logistics for volunteer events, ensuring all needs are met.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Non-Profit Management or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in community outreach or volunteer management
