Job Description

As a Labor Relations Specialist, you'll play a key role in influencing our industrial relations policies. You will be expected to analyze current practices for adherence to legislation, offer strategic recommendations for enhancements, and serve as a reliable advisor to both management and staff on various industrial relations matters. This position requires a proactive approach in researching industry trends and preparing relevant reports.

Responsibilities

  • Review and recommend updates to existing industrial relations policies.
  • Evaluate workplace disputes and recommend resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure compliance with labour laws.
  • Maintain records of negotiations and agreements with employee representatives.
  • Develop action plans based on analysis of employee morale and workplace conditions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources
Experience
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role, especially in a unionised environment

Languages
  • English: Fluent
