Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Control and Valve Installer and Repairer to join our HVAC team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing control systems and valves in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC control systems and valves.
• Conduct diagnostics on HVAC systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of less experienced team members.
• Maintain documentation of system installations and repairs for future reference.
• Provide timely updates to clients regarding service schedules and project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
• Additional certifications in HVAC technology are advantageous.

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC installations and repairs.

Technical Skills

• Experience with thermostat diagnostic software
• Proficiency with electrical systems

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Valid driver's license
• White card

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with energy-efficient systems: Knowledge of sustainability in HVAC technology.
• Experience in customer-facing roles: Comfortable interacting with clients and addressing their needs.
