Job Description

We are on the lookout for dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating tampering machines to maintain and repair railway tracks. This position demands precision, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate tampering machines to ensure the proper alignment of tracks.
• Conduct visual inspections of tracks for signs of wear and tear.
• Perform maintenance tasks on tampering equipment as needed.
• Ensure that all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
• Document all maintenance and inspection processes clearly.
• Assist in training other team members on machine operation.
• Participate in safety meetings and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors on maintenance strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in railway maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Track Inspection
• Tool Operation

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Dependability

Certifications

• Tamper Machine Operation Certification
• First Aid Training (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of track inspection software: Familiarity with track inspection software and protocols.
