Job Description

As a Helper in our Installation, Maintenance, and Repair department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of skilled mechanics. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with equipment assembly, maintaining safety and efficiency on job sites, and ensuring that all work is documented accurately.

Responsibilities

• Help in the organization of the workshop and tools.
• Monitor equipment levels and report shortages.
• Assist in conducting regular safety inspections.
• Provide assistance during equipment testing and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitting) or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Certifications

• First Aid Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in welding or fabrication: Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes for equipment repair.
• Experience in a mining or heavy equipment environment: Background in the mining industry providing relevant experience.
